Lame

Repentance is changing the way that you think. Jon painted a picture of what we as a
church will look like when we embrace repentance and change. The direction that we
believe we are called to, is based on Revelation 7:9(After this I looked, and behold, a
great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples
and languages, etc.) Jon shared that we must walk with the Holy Spirit to see true unity
and not just conformity. He shared the story of John and Peter being empowered by the
Holy Spirit. When we are walking with the Holy Spirit, He empowers us to change the
world. They showed Christ as the hope of glory within them. Jon shared the story of the
lame man. Peter and John didn’t have anything to offer from themselves but they were
a conduit of the Holy Spirit and the lame man was restored.
