Children
Our goal is to mentor children on how to develop a closer relationship with God and how to apply His Scripture to life situations.
About Kids Campus
Parents are able to check kids into our classrooms prior to service starting. Once they’re checked-in and have a security label, the kids play with our teachers in their classroom with some ice breaker type games and activities.
After about 15 minutes, the Pre-school – 5th grade classrooms all gather in our Kids Theater room for Large Group Worship. Here, the kids worship with lyric videos, and watch a basic video of the week’s lesson. The large group leader will then speak a bit with the kids to help reinforce the lesson. The kids then break back into their age appropriate classrooms for a small group lesson. Each age group learns things differently so the small groups have lesson based games and activities specific to the child’s age.

Interested in a Baby Dedication?
At NorthGate, we delight in dedicating babies to the Lord with their families and our church congregation. We believe a baby dedication is a way for parents to publicly commit to training and raising their child to seek Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Proverbs 22:6). When a baby is dedicated, the parents are coming before the congregation to ask for God’s blessing upon the child and acknowledging their need for a supportive church community to help their child’s spiritual growth development.
Examples of baby dedications can be found in the Bible. For instance, Hannah, a woman unable to bear a child, prayed for a child and promised to dedicate him to the Lord (1 Samuel 1:1). The parents of Jesus, Joseph and Mary, took baby Jesus to the temple to be dedicated (Luke 2:22). Overall, baby dedication was a common practice under the Jewish law.
It is after a child is old enough to make a personal decision to follow Christ with their life and believes that Jesus is the only way, truth, and life that we encourage baptism.
